Happy New Year to you all.
Due to Government Covid-19 restrictions, as you’ve probably guessed, JASD will not be able to open it’s studio doors as planned next week. Not knowing how long we will be in tier 4, I have decided to postpone the start of term. However, I will be running limited number of weekly on-line zoom classes for my older students to help promote fitness, wellbeing and to retain technique.
From experience, it is very difficult for my younger students to engage and retain interest with on-line classes. I have therefore decided to not schedule zoom classes at this time for younger students, I will however be providing some fun on-line workshops to help keep the younger learners involved with dance and promote wellbeing. More information will be posted over the next few weeks.
Any banked money from the last 3-week term will remain in credit for when we return to the studio.
Pleases settle any outstanding payments for any uniform or classes as soon as possible.
January On-line Zoom Classes
- Wednesdays 8:15-9:00pm General ballet technique class (grade 3 level upwards)
- Thursdays 8:15-9:15pm Dance fitness, stretching and conditioning/strengthening class
The above classes will start on 6th January and run for four weeks. They are available to all students aged 10 years or older. Anyone can partake, regardless of whether they are usually registered in the genre of class. I am asking for a donation to take part in these classes. If you/your child is interested in taking part in these classes please advise via email and make your donation for the 4 weeks to the usual Jessica Ann School of Dancing bank account or via the website www.jadance.co.uk using the donations window (top right of this page - or at the bottom of the page if you are using a mobile). If you have credit banked from the previous 3-week term (those that paid for a 6-week term before lockdown number 2) you may use this for your donation or it can remain banked for when we return to studio classes.
I also have in the pipeline exciting guest-teacher on-line workshops for my older students. Even if you choose not to attend the regular on-line classes you are still invited to take part in these one-off workshops. More information will be posted soon.
I will continue to keep you all updated with the consequences of Government restrictions. For those that have Facebook or Instagram, please follow us on theses platforms. Posts will be updated regularly to advise of any updates and upcoming workshops.
Thank you for your continued understanding support and loyalty. Please stay safe and positive, we will be back in the studio soon
Thanks and regards
Miss Jess
